Last spring, I joined a group to publish a book version of my Measuring Up app. The goal was to make the app available to a wider audience who did not use their iphones when they went clothes shopping.
I had no idea how powerful this project would become. I had no background in publishing, no writing background and no idea how to get it out to the world. But I strongly believed in this as a necessary platform.
Best Seller in a Weekend taught me how to do all of the above and more.
Let's just say, it was probably the most intense weekend I have experienced in quite sometime. Almost too much to take in, but I kept at it.
The book version, Measuring Up, Buying Clothes That Fit, with expanded information and helpful hints on how to sucessfully buy clothes that fit, was finished in August and is now joyfully for sale on Amazon.
Not only that, but Northshore Magazine showcased it as a feature article in their Back to School issue!
There were many days leading up to this that I was ready to throw in the proverbial towel, but it just goes to show that what you strongly believe in your heart can be done, can be.
